I'm currently wondering what to choose between the aging AMD FX 6300 or the i5 6600K. I will use my rig for gaming (GTAV, Warframe and such) and working (Office), while listening to music on spotify. My old laptop which I'm using right now barely handles surfing while Spotify is running, while CS:GO is running on a steady 18 frames.
Because of my age of 14 and that I live in Norway (Blody exspensive), my budget isn't the greatest. The Intel one is about 200$ more exspensive. I've pasted the specs of the two rigs below:
AMD:
AMD FX 6300 Black Edition
Gigabyte GA-990FX-Gaming
Crucial DDR3 Ballistix Tactical 16GB 2x8GB 1600MHz CL8 240pin orange/blue LED
Corsair SSD Force Series LE 240GB
Sapphire Radeon R9 380X 4GB GDDR5 NITRO
Corsair CX750M
Fractal Design S Window
Intel:
Intel i5 6600K
MSI Z170a KRAIT GAMING 3X
HyperX Fury DDR4 2133MHz 16GB kit 2x8GB CL14
Corsair SSD Force Series LE 240GB
MSI Radeon R9 380 4GB GDDR5
Corsair CX750M
Fractal Design S Window
I'll pair all of this with some more (Asus PCIe x4 Wireless Network Adapter and Corsair H110i GT, and some more).
I wonder: Are all the parts in these rigs compatible with the other parts in the same rig? By my computer experience, these parts would work together, but my RAM knowledge is a bit short. But my main question is: Which computer is better?
