Question Pin code deleting itself when typing it

Hi guys,
after my keypad stopped working on my Sony Vaio I purchased usb keyboard with the mouse. When I want to log in to my account and I am trying to write type the pin code, its just deleting itself it doesn't allow me to type anything. I tried the keypad on the screen , same issue.
Dou you please know what is the issue ?

What account? did you type on different account? same problem? and are you saying you type it since you purchased new keyboard and mouse usb? the new keyboard might be problem, try use new keyboard with different PC/laptop for test
