Pin in cartridge holder is bent

the pin in cartridge holder appears to bent is this why the cartridges are coming out of place when i am running my hp printer C4340 how to fix it

Unbend the pin. No clue if this is what is causing the cartridges to move though, you could also be installing them wrong, or they could be for the wrong printer model. If you are sure that whatever pin you are talking about should not be bend, straighten it and see if that fixes things.
