are there any pin mods to increase the voltage of the p3 or to change the multiplier? This is a p3 866eb I have managed to get it running at 140mhz fsb which translates into 910mhz stable. When I try to increase the fsb any more one of two things gets in the way, the memory or the overclocked pci bus. I need another way to get some extra speed out of it.

You can increase the voltage or bus speed, but not the multiplier. And since you're already at the highest bus speed, you're stuck.

actually crash the bus goes up to 150 so increasing the voltage would be helpful perhaps. how do I increase it?

What's the stock supposed to be (as written on the core)?

OUCH. I was hoping you wouldn't say that! 1.65v and below are the most dificult. Closing VID3 to VSS with a fine wire gets you to 2.05v, then if you want less you have to break pins. Breaking off VID2 gets you to a safe 1.85v, but only after jumping VID3 to VSS.

hmm can I just isolate vid2 from the socket? that would be less painful to me than snapping off a pin I could widen the pin hole and slide a wire covor on it.

Yes, I've heard about people pulling a strand of wire from an old IDE or floppy cable, yanking the wire from that strand, sticking the insulation on the pin, then opening the hole a bit to accomodate the insulation.
