Ping drops when playing online.

My ping is normal, about 100, but suddenly it drops all the way to 1500 and sometimes more, and makes any game unplayable. After about 1-2 minutes it goes back to normal. My specs: Macbook Pro late 2013, 2,6GHz Intel i7, 16GB of ram, Nvidia GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB, so I'm pretty sure the problem isn't in my computer. My internet speed is about 6mbps download and 0,5mbps upload. Please help, and pardon my english.
