Hi, I'm extremely beginner with things like internet connections and stuff like that but I'm wondering if there is any solution to my Ping Problems. During games I would see my Ping randomly spike very high then back down low. Its been like this for a while but I got too lazy to get to fixing it until now. I did a test and these are the results:

Tracing route to www.google.com
over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 1 ms 2 ms 1 ms
2 27 ms 24 ms 35 ms homeportal
3 * * * Request timed out.
4 * 22 ms 23 ms
5 64 ms 65 ms 81 ms
6 68 ms 69 ms 68 ms
7 65 ms 68 ms 69 ms
8 69 ms 64 ms 67 ms lax17s34-in-f4.1e100.net

Specs:
ASUS USB AC68 USB WIRELESS ADAPTER

Solution
Your trace shows no actual problems. You can't interpret much about hops in the middle having data loss it can just be the way the device is configured or it may be busy doing something else rather than respond to your trace/ping.

A trace that shows a problem will have issues at a certain hop and every hop past that.

In addition you should not test on wifi. Ping spikes and inconsistency is one of those things you have to live with on wifi. It is subject to interference from outside your house and you can't fix that
