Question Ping spikes every 2 minutes when on wifi

I just changed ISP, and overall this internet is better than the old one except for one thing, when on wifi i get ping spikes/packet loss that lasts for about 3 seconds and it happens every 2 minutes or so every time. it happens on multiple laptops and 24/7. i tried to use an ethernet cable and the problem went away, then i changed back to wifi again and it came back.
the modem i am using is the one the ISP provided and its a "Comtrend ar-5310".

these were pinging the league of legends servers, but i also pinged other servers like google and its the same thing.

Try setting different channel of wifi on router , see with your phone which channels are being used(There are apps for Android like wifi analyzer)
Try changing the "from b/g/n" to b/g or just to n.(Those types of, I dont know how is called)

i've tried different channels and im on one thats not being used by anything else right now, and the problem still persists, i dont know what you setting u mean to change from b/g/n to n.
also ive tried to ping my router "192.168.1.1" and it turns out i get ping spikes there aswell at the same time i get ping spikes on other servers.
