I'm a gamer and I can't play online games with this unstable ping, sometimes it locks on 43 but usually it runs crazy making it impossible to play, At first I thought it was my sister downloading but I found myself alone at home and my ping still went crazy. In my cmd my ping spikes from 20 to 50 to even 200 sometimes, I've googled speed tests and it is sometimes 1 mbps sometimes 10 sometimes 5. I've tried reseting my router to factory defaults, updating my network drivers. tried to update my firmware but didn't find the firmware for technicolor tc7200. Can anyone help me? Can the problem be in the cable ? In the router ? I've contacted my ISP they said everything is working fine.

I had the same issue recently. I thought it was my ISP (Comcast, which tends to be very unreliable), but it was actually my Network drivers. In the Network and Sharing Center, go to Network Adapters, and select reset adapters, or reset, or whatever it's called.

did not work :/

Contacted them, said everything was working as it should be, tho i didn't have ping spikes with them before
