Hello!

I am experiencing frequent ping spikes while gaming on my pc. I have an average ping of 30 // 40.
Whenever these spikes occur, I get teleported back to the location where I was a few seconds before the spike.

I use a powerline adapter with an AC passthrough. (TP-Link TL-PA4010PT KIT).

Link to the powerline adapter: (I couldn't find it on Amazon, so it's a Dutch website).

My computer has a static IP, because I have done some portforwarding.

I ran a speedtest and these are my results:

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Would not suspect the powerline adapters per se.

Neither powerline adapter should be plugged into a surge protectors, power strips, or UPSs .

Do the spikes occur during any other online activities? Or just during gaming or just one particular game?

Could be some cheat going on......

You could try swapping out the existing ethernet cables with other known working cables; Cat 5e.

You could try running tracert from the command prompt. May provide some insight. Target various websites including the gamesite. Try at different times and look for some pattern. Maybe the spikes occur at certain times of the day or night.

Need to narrow down the circumstances.
