Ping spikes when gaming whenever more than 1 device using wireless AP

Hey guys, i am having issues with my engenius eap300 AP I installed for wireless gaming in my top floor. I have it directly wired to my router located in my basement that wasn't strong enough to reach the top floor in my home. Since i don't live alone there is almost always another person using the access point and during this time i get an extremely high ping in all games. normally when my PC is connected by itself to the AP i can get around a 50 ping but as soon as i connect even just my own phone and load a video/webpage my ping spikes to 300+. I don't believe it is my internet plan as i should normally get 50MBps download speed any help/solutions would be great. Thanks.

You will need to use the QOS features of the AP. You need to prioritize your gaming traffic ahead of other traffic. I can't find a good guide to show how....
