Pink Screen with Radeon R9 270x, please help.

I built my PC not to long ago and now im getting a pink screen, the radeon r9 270x came a VGA to dvi adapter and that's what I use. I plug the dvi part to the GPU and the VGA to monitor and it gives me a pink screen. Back then it wouldnt but now it does, I did try to connect the HDMI cord to my other monitor and I got no pink screen, but since the monitor I use doesn't have HDMI ports I can't use the cable, so please what do I do? Thank you

Maybe it is the monitor, try to test the monitor on another computer.

Sounds like one of the vga pins in broken.

Classic high school trick. If you half unplug a vga cable, the screen goes a horrid shade, but still works.
Then watch the so called IT guy go insane trying to update drivers, format etc.

Yep, probably the blue pin signal is done, but it may be faulty monitor too.

Nope its not the monitor, I've tried different ones , it could either be the cable which I don't think because I've tried two different cables, or the adapter converter. It also can change between blue and pink?

Connect ur VGA cable directly to the motherboard after pulling ur graphics card out if it is still showing pink screen then may be cable try another still the same may be monitor then!
