Pinnacle Studio 14 and Photoshop cs6 not working on windows 10, need help.

I have a windows 10 x64 and the specs meet the requirements for the program but for some reason when i try to drag something into pinnacle studio 14 a circle with a line appears not letting me add the image or video. This is also the case with Photoshop.

The issue you're explaining is akin to what you'd see with a no entry sign.

Which when in Photoshop happens when you don't have layers assigned to the image you're working on or if you've got a tool other than the cursor selected while working, e.g the marquee tool.

I'm not familiar with Pinnacle but I am with Photoshop. If I've got it wrong, then you might want to pass on a video of the issue.
