Strage thing is happening. On my current installation I get my Pinnacle StudioTV to work fine. The rest of my Win98SE is not working well. Most of the programs have gone south.
When trying to do a reinstall (Win98SE) on a new harddisk (Seagte 20Gb) my TV Software doesn't want to work (The PC freezes up) even though I didn't change the PCI cards beteen installs. (I have the newest drivers for Savage, Mboard, PCTV Pro card, etc)
I have a Pinnacle PCTV Pro TV Tuner, Savage4 AGP 32Mb, Athlon700, 128Mb Ram, 17Gb Seagate , Epox 7KXA motherboard, Intel Pro100+, Tower with 300W powersupply.
I have reinstalled 98SE 3 times and doesn't want to work even if I change the cards around (Freezes the PC). It does work on my old disk even when I change the cards around. On the old install I have Savage4 "Engineering Bitflip" Drivers and the new drivers just say Savage4 (23 November 1999). Can that be a problem / solution? Don't have the original drivers though..
Please help.
Going to try Win2000 as a dual boot to see if that will help.
