Pins of DDRs

Well, DDR, 2, 3, 4 operate on different contacts and slots aren't compatible with one another.

So, currently i feel im answering you correctly but im equally just as confused. Why are you asking these questions?

I have in the past DDR2 in my old computer as I remember and I want to know how to connect the card to computer and know how it work. Now I have a computer that isn't have it. So I want to know for general knowledge what I have and how it work. So If I want to buy a new computer, I know what hardware to buy.

Ddr2 is ancient and so is ddr3 now. Depending which platform you wish to upgrade to, i advise looking at general chipset motherboard webpage on specs and suss out the type of memory you'll need.
