Pioneer AVH-X5850BT usb video playback issue

Hello,
I just installed the avh-x5850BT heaunit spent like 700$ and it does not playback video files from my usb drive. says unsupported format. i tried divx, h.264 with various settings.

It says that H.264, divx is supported.

Can someone please guide me or give a suggestion which type of encoder should i use , what settings....i am using xilisoft converter and handbrake.....

Usb is a normal usb3.0 128gb

does it see the USB stick and the files, and then what, you select it and it does nothing, black screen, starts then freezes?

it sees the usb, sees the file when i click it it says " unplayable file"[close/next]

You try a different stick or format it in fat32

It seems that you have to re-encode the videos to fit "max resolution"
