Pioneer DEH-X4900BT firmware

Pioneer DEH-X4900BT won't update firmware via USB. Formatted USB fat32 and NTFS. Unit just sits telling me version number won't go anywhere. Currently have 8.10 trying to update to 8.17. I'm using 8g USB stick. Thank you for any assistance.

Oh yes I have just the .scd file only on USB

Try to format it to a smaller size drive. Less than 2gb.

Nope Partitioned usb to 2g still no luck

According to Pioneer FAT32 is required. As painful as it sounds you probably need to call Pioneer Customer Service toll free at 1-800-421-1404,
Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM - 4:00 PM (Pacific Time).
