Pioneer Receiver VSX 930 K wont start, just HDMI light turns on

Hi All

i ran into a weird issue today when while watching TV with our home theater system, our av receiver turned off. it has never done that before, i restarted it but only HDMI light turns on, as soon as i hit power button the HDMI light goes off as well and system doesn't starts up.

i have tried various methods to reset the system including enter+standby button, preset_standby button, enter+adv surr button
but nothing seems to work

any pointers will be highly appreciated

its a 2 yrs old box hence shouldn't die so soon.

Shouldn't die so soon but not couldn't.
Try resetting it by unplugging it from the AC outlet.
If that doesn't work disconnect the inputs and speaker wires and try to turn it on. The manual might help..

This could be caused by bad HDMI input chips. Check with Pioneer. Maybe they can do something for you out of warranty.

Press the Advance Surround button and the Standby/On button for a few seconds, and it should reset.
