Pivoting Monitor with analog input?

Got my new Samsung 193P monitor before the rest of the new computer is ready, so
I hooked it up to my old one (3D Labs Oxygen, 32MB RAM, analog output only).

Works great, except the pivoting software causes Win 2K to BSOD on reboot. So,
for now, I'm stuck in plain ol' horizontal mode.

I'm new to LCD monitors and digital video output. Will pivoting (in general)
work with analog output, or is my problem elsewhere?

Thanks! Looks like it's either Win 2K Pro or the graphics card that is the
problem. I'll wait until I get the new computer and try again.
