Pixel on my monitor that i just noticed

Just noticed this purple pixel on white backgrounds, try rubbing around it turning off monitor nothing worked

How does it appear on other backgrounds? Black for example.

If it's "stuck", it should continue to be purple regardless of the background. If it's dead, it'll be a variation of the background it's on.

It cant be seen on black/red, but it is seen easily on white,green

Sounds like a dead pixel to me. Dead is essentially a "leak" of the surrounding colour (or lack thereof), hence on darker backgrounds you can't see it (it just blends in).

its purple on every background though, i thought dead pixels are black

Oh sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you meant it was no longer purple on the black/red backgrounds.
If it's still purple, it's stuck. There are some (epilepsy inducing!) freeware in existence that claim to fix 'stuck' pixels, but I haven't tried any myself to recommend.
