So I recently bought an Asus VG248, the 144 hz one, and I appear to have a small little white pixel towards the left end of my screen. I didn't know what they looked like before but I was curious and the moment I saw what they were like I checked my monitor for one and boom I found one -,-

Anyways, my question here is, is there anything I can do? I've seen programs or whatever but do those really help?

Aside from that, does this mean my monitor is now prone to more stuck or dead pixels? Or does that mean it'll die quicker? :/

It is actually farily common to have adead pixel My dad had one on his new acer monitor its because a pixel gets stuck on one color, most of the time a slideshow of colors will get the dead pixel working again, if that does not fix it how ever you may have to return it and as far as I know you cannot return a monitor unless it has more than seven dead pixels could be wrong however.

I would not be in the same room it may cause a seizure.

This doesn't mean my computer is prone to dead pixels or issues along the line does it?
