Pixels on monitor

I have my Xbox one plugged into my monitor and when I play games or watch videos coloured pixels pop up on the screen, mostly in dark areas.

try the monitor on a computer to see if the pixels are still there as might be an xbox issue.

I changed the HDMI cable and pixles no longer popped up Thanks
