I've just bought an Gigabyte M27q monitor to use with my laptop but I've noticed a really weird issue in the top right of the screen. There are 3 little white dots in the top right corner. I thought they were dead pixels however I ran a Pixel tester and they go away. They only appear in games or on my desktop wallpaper. They don't appear on my lock screen for instance.
They also go all screwy. I loaded up cyberpunk and it changed to a little black dot. When playing WoW at the login screen it's a little black dot. In game they actually flicker. It's very off-putting. Loaded up Tales of Arise and it makes the corner of the screen flicker.
I've tried updating the firmware, changing HDMI cables, using the HDMI port on my laptop and the usbc-hdmi port and nothing works. They're always there.
Does anyone know what they could possibly be? Have I just got a defective monitor?
