Aside from act bosses (*Yawn*), you'll want to MF in the level 80+
areas.

The Pit (A1) is level 84.
Maggot Lair (A2) is level 84.
The Ancient Tunnels (A2) is level 85.
The two tunnels off of The Causeway (A3) are level 85.

These areas are easy to reach, FULL of bosses/champions, and are a
great resource for good items.

What is mfing? I'm a noob and have seen it many times but can't figure out
what it is. I came across a short list of abrevs a few days ago but can't
find it now.

I think you'll find that the Pit and Maggot Lair are lvl 85.

zeko, the area level list has been posted numerous times in the past
month. Just do a quick search.

Going out to find items. "Magic Finding".

This is opposed to Questing or Leveling.

Get your MF gear on and cruise the "high level" areas to kill champions
for the items they drop.

I guess I knew that without realizing it. I entered a level in NM Act II and
was immediately swarmed by undead and their master the Greater Mummy. It
took a moment or more to realize there was three Champions in the mess.
After clearing most of it and thinking it was going to end soon two more
came around the corner. After +20 minutes(yeah I died more than once) I
finally had it cleared and found all kinds of goodies. Not long after I came
across a similar situation and at the end I gathered only a few thou gold
and was bummed that those *blue* names were not in the fight.

Thanks for the input. Where can I get a good list of all the abrevs I see on
this group or do I just need to hang out and figure it out?

A sorc friend of mine just loved doing Pit and Ancient Tunnel
runs--especially Ancient Tunnel runs.
