Hi,

I just found out that Legends already had Great Wall while the first
creature with plainswalk wasn't printed until Odyssey. Was it realy
there only to protected against Hacked creatures? Or am I missing
something?

Great Wall
{2}{W}
Enchantment
Creatures with plainswalk may be blocked as though they didn't have
plainswalk.

Graceful Antelope

Plainswalk
Whenever ~this~ deals combat damage to a player, you may have target
land become a Plains until ~this~ leaves play.

Magical Hack
{U}
Instant
Change the text of target spell or permanent by replacing all
instances of one basic land type with another. (For example, you may
change "swampwalk" to "plainswalk.") (This effect doesn't end at end
of turn.)

I believe Righteous Avengers (also from Legends) had Plainswalk. But yeah,
they printed a couple cards (Great Wall and another Legends Legend, whose
name I forget) that allowed Plainswalkers to be blocked as if they didn't
have that ability, when only one creature (who wasn't even widely used or
too powerful) had that ability in the first place.

You're right I missed that one.

There's also Aysen Highway from Homelands, giving white creatures
plainswalk for the low low cost of 3WWW. And if you want to be complete,
Zodiac Rooster from Portal 3 Kingdoms also has plainswalk.
