I plan on using my old HD and disk drives. The specific questions I have are A) Does any one see any compatibility issues? B) is the PSU I selected overkill? C) Should I go with 1833 memory instead of 1600 and D) Is this CPU cooler good enough for gaming applications or should I go with something else? Oh and if anyone is feeling in the xmas mood this does double as a wish list =)

Solution
If not thinking of SLI in the future then the 850 is a bit of OK yes, for a 760 and your Rig a 550 w/ 30 AMPs on the 12 Volt rail, yep - I'd go 1866, might look at the Snipers with your rig, 1866/9 or even 2133/9 or 10, 1600 is basically entry level, and we'll stick you on the Xmas list, think you'll fall in at number 104,372 - so there's just a few ahead of you 😉

thanks for your answers I think my only option for ram is 1600 an 1866 but ill have to check to be sure and yes I plan on SLI in future. I do realize processor is overkill but that is a part that I would rather buy a cpu once and keep it till it fails instead of spending less and having to upgrade when it cant keep up with software. but again thanks for you input guys
