Planetside 2 on Windows 8.1

I heard that Planetside 2 has problems on windows 8. I'm not sure if the same applies to windows 8.1. I am planning on building my first gaming pc and I did choose windows 8.1 as my os. I am planning to play a lot of Planetside 2 especially. Does Windows 8.1 have problems with games?

I've tested 250 games and had issues with only three of them.

I highly doubt Planetside 2 still has any issues. Windows 8.1 is a really great OS. It's better than Windows 7 and has very few compatibility issues now.

Probably the GAME ITSELF was fixed not Windows to address compatibility issues.

The only issue really is the interface, so I use START8 ($5) to completely avoid the new interface though i still play with it.

Sorry, there may be a current issue with Planetside 2 which is surprising to me since most games work fine. Not sure. I saw a thread in JUNE 2014 that said it was getting a fix in a future update to support Windows 8 properly.

I do know BF4 was coded to make better use of CPU management which is why it ran better on Windows 8 so maybe it has to do with that somehow.

Unsure of the exact issues or whether they still exist.
