Planetside 2 with core i3

Has anyone played planetside 2 with an i3 processor? I just bought a 3220 for my new build, and I'm curious if anyone has had any luck using it with this game.

I don't use it personally but its a very good cpu, I would think it'd work great.

It's recommended to have a Intel i5 processor or higher / AMD Phenom II X6 or higher.

It's multiplayer game with HUGE fights, so the CPU will be struggling to its very last.

I would have recommended you to buy the FX 6300 instead of the i3-3220, because they come at the same Price

FX 6300 beats i3-3220 in every aspect and is overclockable.

The i3 doesn't struggle but an i5 would be the best option if you can stretch your budget.

Ive played it on much worse hardware. It gets a bit laggy. I ordered the 3220 so hopefully it works out. Card is a 560ti as well. Thanks!

I wouldnt buy anything except phenom x4 if i went amd. Fx 6300 beats i3 in very few aspects, and in gaming it loses in almost all. Not a phanboi, I'm currently on an athlon, but intel has an advantage at this point in time. I will give amd credit for their laptop apu's, but lets face it, intel is the more logical choice.

EDIT: I hadnt actually looked at the FX '6'300 much. I was in the '4'xxx series. I take back what i said. I might switch paths after a bit more research. Thanks for the idea mate.
