Planing to buy new cpu

Hi , planing to buy a used i5 2nd gen pc bcoz tight budget ,so my question is will i5 manage for upcoming games or what about g4560 ? The 4560 is only dual core pls give best suggestion
My spec
Core i5 2310 2.90ghz
Ddr3 4gb ram
Gtx 750ti

Go for an i5 no doubt.
It should handle all games out atm, but some few are now using more than 4 cores.

Well if I would build it...
I would get a brand new i5 / i7 or a Ryzen 5 / 7
And this is because of getting atleast 4 cores and the newest tech and support. But offcourse with this you will need a new motherboard, RAM and maybe a new PSU since I dont know what kind of PSU you are using.
