Hello,
I am thinking about getting a new rig and threw together already something I think would suit my needs and work together well, but before I do any final decisions on buying the parts I would like to ask you for opinions, hints, clues, critic,...
PC purpose:
- mainly gaming @1600x900 - 1920x1080 px with medium to high/ultra details
- fraps video capturing during game & video editing afterwards
- mostly minecraft with HD pack & running a server at the same time + video capturing during play
- other possible titles: AvP, WoW, Metro 2033, Evolve, Path of Exile, etc.
PC PARTS
CPU: AMD FX-6300 - 6-core @3,5Ghz ~100€
GPU: Asus Strix GTX 750TI OC 2GB DDR5 ~160€
RAM: 8GB DDR3 Kingston HyperX Fury 1866MHz Black (single slot) ~65€
MoBo: ASrock 970 pro3 r2.0 ~60€
HDD: Seagate 1TB HDD Barracuda (ST1000DM003) Sata III ~55€
PSU: Corsair 450W CS Series CS450M, 80 PLUS Gold, modular, Intel Haswell ~69€

In total: ~560€
Alternative (cheaper variant with a future upgrade)
GPU A: AMD Sapphire R7 250 2GB - with possible Cross-fire upgrade in future ~92€
GPU B: AMD Sapphire R7 250X 2GB - with possible Cross-fire upgrade in future ~101€
RAM: DDR3 4GB Kingston HyperX Fury 1600MHz Black (with the option to get another 1-3 memory slots summing up to 8/16GB) ~35€
PSU A: Corsair 430W (CX430M), 80 PLUS Bronze, modular ~53€
PSU B: Gigabyte Superb E470, GE-E470A-C4, 80Plus, SLI ~47€ (usefull when I plan Cross-fire?)
Case: ??? ~20-50€ - with USB 3.0 on front + side window, which one would you suggest?
I am really disapointed to find out that the Geforce GTX 750 series are not SLI capable...
Or are they?
Tell me folks what you think about that setup please.
