Planning out some parts to buy for black friday. I have a 850w power supply and gtx 970 that will be upgraded later on down the road.

The build is for my video editing business for wedding films. No longer than 30 minute videos with adobe premiere. Color grading, music, and some warp stabilizing here and there, and neat video plug-in.I would also like it to be able to handle 4K editing in the future.I want to be able to overclock in the future as well.

Here goes the build:

Ryzen 2700X ($309)

ASRock X470 Master SLI/AC ($100)

G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32gb 3200 ($279)

Samsung 970 EVO 1TB M.2 (227)

My concern is, will the RAM work well with 2700X and Master SLI? The reason for the Motherboard and RAM choice are based off newegg black friday ad.

The processor is fine with the 3200 RAM, but the motherboard support page does not specifically name the G.Skill Trident Z RGB 3200 as tested. Also, I have multiple HDDs already for storage, and will be using the M.2 for my OS and current project files :)

I'm surprised that an X470 board is ~40% off for BF - that's really not the use case on relevant/modern hardware.
BF is typically used to blow out old stock and volume products (storage, PSUs etc).

Regardless....
For the memory, is *should* play nice.
The only outright guarantees would be kits on the QVL for the board, and that'll be on specific model number, not just a series (ie F4-3200C16D-16GTZ opposed to "TridentZ").
Beyond that, kits using Samsung B-Die have a great success. Refer:

BUT, 2nd Gen Ryzen has improved memory compatibility - so the risks are lessened. I have a PrimeX470-Pro from Asus with 3200MHz Corsair (Hynix memory) that works just fine. No guarantees though.

I just checked your advice and noticed the QVL listed F4-3200C16Q-16GRK vs my choice of F4-3200C16Q-32GTZR. After looking up G.Skill model numbers, the last numbers are based off colors only. Thanks for the help!
