Build Details:
CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
RAM: G.Skill DDR5-6000 CL28
Motherboard: Gigabyte B650M Aorus Elite AX
Cooler: ID-COOLING SE-207-XT
GPU: RX 6800 XT (carried over from current PC)
PSU: 1000W (existing)
Case: Reusing current one

Questions:
Any potential compatibility issues?
Is DDR5-6000 CL28 optimal for this setup?
Will the SE-207-XT provide adequate cooling for the 7800X3D?
General thoughts on this upgrade strategy?

(Note: Reusing GPU, case and PSU from current system)

General thoughts on this upgrade strategy?
What are you upgrading from? Why are you upgrading?

Is DDR5-6000 CL28 optimal for this setup?
Yes but you should be looking at ram that has AMD's E.X.P.O advertised on the ram kit. FYI, DDR5-6000MHz is the sweet spot for DDR5 platforms.

PSU: 1000W (existing)
What is the make, model and age of the unit? What did the PSU power throughout it's tenure?

Case: Reusing current one
Which is?

Will the SE-207-XT provide adequate cooling for the 7800X3D?
You should be fine.

I want to upgrade from my i5-11400F to a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, mainly for CS2 and other online shooters/MMOs. The 1% lows should improve significantly since the 11400F is no longer as snappy in newer games.

My PSU is a Super Flower Platinum (don't remember the exact model—would need to check the label or box). It's been working fine for about 4 years. My case is the Jonsbo D31 Mesh.
