Planning an upgrade

Hey all.. a friend of mine is planning to upgrade his pc could you help us please

Current specs:
GPU :R9 270x
CPU :A 10 5800K
Ram : 8GB DDR3
Mobo: A88m-a ASUS

we were planning to upgrade the CPU which leads us to a new motherboard and ram so here is the things we thought of buying
I5 7600
MSI Z250 PC MATE
8Gb hyperx fury 2133 mhz ram

Now i thought that as our main goal on this pc is to play games isnt it better to upgrade a gpu to a gtx 1060 or 1070 would it give us more fps than the whole processor upgrade ? what do you guys think ?

I wouldn't put a 1060 or 1070 with the Processor he has, its a dog and will bottleneck the heck out of either gpu.

Go for the new CPU etc and then get a GPU later. The 270x is still a decent GPU for medium-high graphics 1080p gaming.
