Planning my first build, $900 budget gaming pc.

I'm planning my first build and i need help. I've been researching a bit and I'm completely overwhelmed with options so i figured I should look to the greater wisdom of the Tom's Hardware community. I'm looking to get the most bang for my $.

Budget: $900
System Usage: Gaming, surfing the internet
I don't need a Monitor or OS
No preferred websites for parts
no preferred brands
no overclocking
no crossfire/sli

I would prefer a quiet PC and I would really appreciate suggestions for an understated case.
I'm mostly looking to play Minecraft, Skyrim, and Diablo 3 (and maybe civ).

the cooler will fit fine and it is easy to install. if you want something better the cooler master 212 evo plus is the best affordable cpu cooler.
