Planning on building a VR ready PC later this summer, what's your input on this build?

This is what I've picked out so far and I would love to have the opinion of someone more experienced when it comes to PC builds!
One thing I have hardly idea about is the motherboard. I have no clue what to look for aside from whether it's compatible with my build so I'd love some input on that.
In the future I'll probably upgrade to 16GB of RAM once I have the money for it (And if I need it) but for right now, 8GB will be fine.
The graphics card is subject to change but it'll likely be some version of the 1080 depending on what other companies start releasing. Right now I'm liking the looks of ASUS's ROG STRIX 1080.
Anyways, I'm rambling; I'd just really appreciate any thoughts on what's good & whats not. Thank you!

MB - You aren't saving much on B150 over H170.
MEM - B150 and H170 are "limited" to DDR4-2133.
CASE - You sure you want a full tower? That is pretty big...
