So like I said, I am planning on getting a Skylake CPU when they release, and I will definitely need a new mobo as well, since I have an AMD CPU. I might also need a new PSU, but I am not sure.
The reason I am doing this upgrade is for future-proofing, and to prepare for the required specs for VR.
So I want to be cost efficient with this, I want to get a CPU that will be good value and be decently futureproof, and the same with the mobo, but I want some of the newer tech on the mobo as well, not just any mobo. I don't know if this change will require a new PSU as well, but considering all this, how much should I save if I am to do this?
