Hi,
I have a Desktop with 240 GB SSD running windows 7. I plan to use SSD for OS and add two more HDDs for storage. I would like to use HDDs only for storage and like to set them up RAID on those HDDs (Mirroring data). I would like to know such setup is possible? Am I right in planning such setup?

Thanks,

You're going to need to load the mobo chipset RAID drivers first, then activate it in the BIOS. Otherwise you can have issues.

From there, you'll press something like Ctrl+I to enter the RAID interface and create the RAID. On boot, you'll see a screen that shows the two drives as member disks and the SSD as non-member disk.

From there, you can google how to repoint my documents and all those folders to the mirror.

Keep in mind a mirror is for availability, not backup. You still need an external drive that you do regular backups to.
