Planning to buy a CPU. How do i know if it will be compatible with my Motherboard?

I currently have "Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-3220 CPU"

And planning to buy i5, For example " Intel Core i5-2500 "

How do i know if it will be compatible with my motherboard?
