Planning to buy a new graphics card and a new mobo.

Hi! I'm planning to upgrade my motherboard and graphics card for my pc to support future/present games (CoD Ghosts, BF4, GTA V, WatchDogs, etc.)
My rig is:
Intel Core i5-3470 @ 3.2Ghz
Inno3D GTX 650
Asus P8H61M LX3 R2.0 Mobo
8GB RAM
1TB HDD

Can you please suggest what kind of Card and Mobo to buy? Because I'm taking a hard time to buy those.

I also plan to get a 2-way SLI GTX 650ti Boost for it. But do you have any other suggestions?

If you're not changing the processor, no point changing the board. It has a PCI-E x16 3.0, you would rather get a single powerful card that will give consistent performance because not all games like or use SLI.

The cost of two GTX 650 Ti Boost should be able to get you a 7950 Boost or even a R9 280X

No. That would just be the total price for the MoBo and the Graphics Card. I'd say I'll spend P21,000 for the card and P11,000 - P12,000 for the board.

I suggest getting a GTX 770 for about P21,000 and skip the new board. You really don't need one unless your switching to a Haswell processor.

I see you might want to get the GTX 650 Ti Boost in SLI, but a single GTX 770 will give about the same performance. It's better with a single card because of the lower power requirement, requires only a single PCI-E slot, as well as consistent performance across games. There are many games that don't like or support SLI at all.

How much (would you think it will be) is the R9 290X when it's released?

But what about the other games (Crysis 3, WatchDogs, GTA V, CoD Ghosts, etc.), can it perform well in 4K?

The 280X performs slightly better than the HD 7970 (Practically the same), average 38fps at 5760x1080 medium (triple monitor)

Watchdogs: Not released yet, no benchmarks yet.

GTA V: Not released on PC yet, no benchmarks yet.

CoD Ghosts: Not released yet, no benchmarks yet.

Your friends might be thinking you still want to get two GTX 650 Ti Boost. SLI requires 2 graphics card slots, but you don't need that anymore.
