Hi. I just joined here. Been reading these forums for years, didn't expect I'll actually end up signing up and making a post myself :D

Straight to the point:

In Amazon, the output HDMI ports are over-under:

On ASUS official site, and where I'm purchasing the GPU from, all output ports are side by side and the heatsink is a little bit different.

On ASUS ROG official site: https://rog.asus.com/graphics-cards/graphics-cards/rog-strix/rog-strix-rtx2060-a6g-evo-gaming-model/gallery

Are there any differences in models, or just a matter of preference? I ask because it's easy to buy a defective GPU here. Thanks in advance.

This gallery from official rog.asus website has side by side ports, which makes me even more confused. I can't buy directly from ASUS because my country is sort of not supported.
Both are different models thats why

This one is Evo version on their site
https://rog.asus.com/graphics-cards/graphics-cards/rog-strix/rog-strix-rtx2060-o6g-evo-gaming-model/gallery

And this one is the OC version
https://rog.asus.com/graphics-cards/graphics-cards/rog-strix/rog-strix-rtx2060-o6g-gaming-model/gallery

Hope this cleared all your questions.

I think it's better if you buy it from their official website

Anything on their official website will not be a fake or defective card but on Amazon you never know as its a third party you are gonna purchase from.
Don't take risk and buy it from the official website
Also this is a video from Hardware unboxing which is an authentic source on which the company sends their cards for reviewing
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iko19q_3kTg

On 4:23 mark you can see the ports which resembles the upper picture of Amazon you sent and it also resembles the fans design.

View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGR2jbMZGWk

On this video you can check that the fans design resembles the official site one but the ports are the same as the amazon one.
6:37 mark

So conclusion is that you should go for the ports which resembles the upper pic as everyone has those ports.

So the first picture is ROG-STRIX-RTX2060-A6G-GAMING and the second one is ROG-STRIX-RTX2060-A6G-EVO-GAMING - as you see the model name differs by "EVO" letters, so they are indeed different models. Typical for Asus.
