Hi guys. Its been about 6 years since I last upgraded any form of hardware on my PC and now I'm thinking that its time to upgrade from a HDD to a SSD.
This is my current specs atm:
AMD Phenom ii x4 b50 3.1GHz
4GB RAM
500GB HDD
9800GT 512 MB GPU
Since windows 10 is coming out soon, I am considering buying the Samsung Internal 2.5 850 EVO 500GB SSD but I'm not sure if its compatible with my current motherboard. Since my motherboard uses SATAII instead of SATAIII, will I see a major difference?
And also, I plan on keeping my HDD to store my photos, videos etc on it. Will I be able to store/install windows 10 on my SSD OR move my current windows 7 onto the SSD and upgrade to windows 10 and use that as my primary drive and use my HDD as my second drive? (So my SSD will be the C: drive and my HDD could be the Z: drive?)
Its been a long time since I've done anything computer related so my memory about this is a bit joggy.
