Yes it will work, but in some areas too much was spent and in others not.

I would cut down on the mobo and PSU, and sink that regained cash into a better case. Also some Aftermarket cooling unless you want to use that AS5 for the stock heatsink, which kind of defeats the point of getting quality paste.

imo you are spending too much money on the motherboard, psu and memory. save that money and get a 7970 or a ssd. a $1400 computer with no ssd is a waste. if you are willing to buy from other places then newegg you can get a better computer for the same price.

Same I agree, you don't need a $200 motherboard. Get a cheaper motherboard & PSU and get a better case , aftermarket fans and better CPU cooling which you can then overclock your CPU. Also try get an SSD cause you'll realize the HUGE performance difference and be a sad little geek when you miss out 😉
