I'm planning to upgrade my laptop Acer Swift 3 SF314-56G-54P0 from 8 to 12gb
The issue is one dimm slot is soldered and the other is removable i have done some research on what ram to buy and came across kingston KCP424SS8/8 but the thing is im afraid if my laptop could give me significant boost and clock speeds to the performance when having one 4gb and one 8gb ram

Here are the specs of my laptop

Processor: Intel® Core™ i5 8th Gen
i5-8265U
Processor Speed
1.60 GHz
Maximum Turbo Speed
3.90 GHz
Processor Core
Quad-core (4 Core™)
Cache
6 MB
64-bit Processing
Yes
Standard Memory: 8 GB
Maximum Memory: 12 GB
Memory Technology: DDR4 SDRAM
Number of Total Memory Slots: 1
Storage: HDD/SSD
1 TB HDD and 128 GB SSD
Graphics: Nvidia MX150 2GB DDR5

Also if you could suggest any other ram modules that'd also be appreciated

Thanks in Advance

Mixing unlike RAM can cause issues sometimes and performance downgrades. Best to stick to one brand, speed and GB. I believe I saw that laptop can go up to 16GB max.
yes there are other models which has a max capacity of 16gb but the one i have has only on removable dimm slot and the other one is soldered and the official site also says its upgradable to 12 gig im still skeptical about adding another 8gb
