I want to upgrade my GPU from a Sapphire Radeon 7770 HD 1GB GDDR5 to something a bit more powerful and capable of bigger and better things.

The only problem is my PSU is only 500w and only has 1 6+2 pin adapter for the GPU so I can only use the ones that require less power.

Is there any decent GPU's out there which will work with just 1 6+2 pin, I had found one I liked but that requires two so I don't know if it will be best to upgrade my PSU as well or just get a less powerful graphics card?

The PSU I have is the Cooler Master 500W 12V Elite Power 500, it is not a great unit but it has done its job well.

What would be the best option for my build?

I mainly use the PC for games and graphic designing so I would like a good amount of VM but can run games at a good FPS

The specs for the build are:

FX-6300
Sapphire Radeon 7770 HD
GIGABYTE 970A-DS3P
2x Corsair Vengeance 4GB RAM
Zalman z11 plus case
Cooler Master 500W
Hyper 212 evo Cooler
WD 1TB Caviar blue HDD
Samsung 840 Evo SSD

I dont really know what my budget is, its just going to be money I get from my birthday so I'll see when it comes. I was hoping for something under £150 but has to have at least 2gb. I would rather stay clear of having to change the psu but I will if I have to
