A friend of a work colleague (who is a ham radio hobbyist) found that a plasma screen he was testing completely swamped a hand scanner with noise. He found that this effect occurred only in front of the unit, but that it continued to some considerable distance (the end of his 200 yard garden).
Given the emissions of CRTs being one of the reasons for changed to TFT, has anyone measured the emission levels from Plasma screens?
