I want to make a full custom loop in EK's blood red coolant and I want to get some plasticizer free tubing just so gunk won't be an issue. I saw the tygon tubes but the reviews say that the tubes are very stiff and considering that its my first ever build, I'd like for the tubes to be softer and easier to use.

Any if this Answer is late but i was looking for the same topic and this side was really high on google search and your answer is just not correct.
Of course there does existists plastics respective tubes without plasticizer and they are still flexible. Just maybe not as much as a thermoplast with plasticizer (PVC), like the most tubes. Such Materials calls Elastomers, but they are most more expensive in production or arent available in transparent. Elastomers are often used in the medicine, chemical or food production section with high requirements.
Tygon for example produces the 2475 and the norprene tube wich are marked as plasticzer free.
