Platin Couffin engine for 64bit System (AMD) fault

Platin Couffin engine for 64bit System (AMD) is faulty.
Problem found on many computers is due to a 'Windows 7 update issue' apparently
I have been told a factory reset is the only answer... Sugar!

Patin Couffin engine is used for burning DVD's, so its likely that your DVD burning software is at faul and not windows 7 -

what software do you use ?
