play a sound file in visual basic

Im making a game in visual basic and need it to play a selected sound clip, How does this work, i did some research, but there has to be some easy way that i just dont know about, plz help

Here is a link for some source code. I haven't tried it because I'm on my work PC and it doesn't have VB. Try it out and see. There are tons of good samples of source code on this site.
