Play music and talk on mic at same time

How do i play music and talk on the mic at the same time on my compaq presario with windows 7 home premium i have a labtop

Hello... Control Panel-Sound right click on Microphone Properties... click the Listen TAB... change your play back device to your speakers... and check mark the "Listen to this device" BOX and "APPLY"... you start to hear it now.

Adjust volume as needed.

yes i have tried it but on the chat site that i use it did not work at all
the people in my chat room could not here me at all, they only heard the music playing
the program i am talking about is paltalk its a chat site that i go to and i have my own room on that program,
the people only heard the music playing and not me talking

i still do not know what to do to solve the problem
