my setup is
i5-4690k
z97p-d3 mboard
16gb ddr3
EVGA 600 W1, 80+ WHITE 600W, Power Supply 100-W1-0600-K3
Rx580

thanks for any help anyone can give.

The video card creates heat when under load. You are playing games. The fan spins up to expel the heat. You could get another case fan to increase airflow, but thats about it for high fan speed. Yes you can make custom fan profile for the video card, but the WHOLE point of the fan is to get rid of the heat.

thanks, im not sure if this screenshot post is going to work. but this was my temps when i was playing Ark and i think that program is using default settings as i have only just got it so not sure if i should change them...

the fan was super loud till i opened this Afterburner then its like the program slowed the fans down, but then they went loud again and the fan speed slider started going up to i think it was 88%

huge thanks guys for the info and thats made me feel less worried lol as with my old card this didnt happen but that was an old one :)

hope you all have a great weekend :)
