Hi thanks for taking the time to read so yeah I have a pretty big problem I have no idea what it is.

So 3 days ago I was playing some Overwatch and I have my fps locked at 100 and it has no trouble. Same with League Of Legends it ran fine and at a decent CPU and GPU usage around 50% or less at high settings. Well today I came to play some games and my pc's fine, just when I run any game it's badddd. When I went to play Overwatch the first thing I saw was that my game quality dropped.

So I go to put turn it back up to where I usually have it meanwhile I noticed my fps dropped from the usual 100 fps to struggling 9 fps. I got to my task manager to see whats going on and my GPU and CPU are running at 99% Which the only things that were running were Overwatch and the Overwatch launcher and the task manager.

(Update) I just tried again and my Overwatch was fine at the 100fps+ 10 seconds later it dropped to 40fps now its going from 30 to 40 fps....Now my CPU and GPU are also at 80%.

Maybe it has something to do with my MSI software's? Or should I do some full scan on my pc?
My PC specs
CPU- Intel i3 7100
GPU- Geforce GTX 1050Ti
Ram- G.Skill 8GB
Hard drive- WD-Blue 1TB
Operating system- Windows 10 Pro

Ask away pls.

Solution
Whats going on here doesn't make much sense, unless you literally unplugged your monitor from your GPU and plugged it into the onboard graphics.

I would download DDU and kill your video drivers and reinstall them first.

Nope just task manager, Google chrome and some provider host. Well also to say I think my pc has been acting weird since a Windows 10 Update ....Like some running stuff in the background and also the February update crashed my moms pc and had to get it fixed. So maybe it's a bug with the update.

Nope only games my pc is fine it's just when I play any game the fps ranges from 20-40 fps.

Im going to run some scans and im going to re plug in some GPU stuff thats what one of my freinds said. So I hope something works.

XD I literally just unplugged my montor from my motherboard and plugged it in on to my GPU and it works fine now lol. Well now atleast I got myself to majorly clean my pc. Well thanks for the susgestion!

Yeah that will do it.....
